☀️Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony of Phra Dhammakaya Temple of Johannesburg, South Africa, Sunday 12 November 2023.☀️
6 Buddhist Monks and 200 people together take place in the traditional Buddhist merits-making Ceremony namely the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, on this occasion, the chairperson of the ceremony is Deon Botes, Nattakarn Botes,Tarina Botes, Vanessa Botes, Kevin Botes, together with the vice-chairpersons of the ceremony as follows, Ratchanee Phutphong, Wassamon Vatanavarodom, Thitiporn Phongkaew, and Alanya Jouanne.
The Kathina ceremony starts with the unity of monks and laypersons through the beautiful walk of the flowers girls, the flags boys, Kathina Robe's Supporters, and laypersons Requesting the precepts, Buddhist Chanting, Meditation Session, Chanting of Kathina Robe Offering, meals and essentials Offering, Receiving blessings and dedication merits from the Buddhist monks and finishes after Offering Meals to the monks and all supporters and participants have lunch happily donated by the 30 food's supporters.
